I really enjoy the twinkling synths. There's a lot of emotion in this song. My few critiques include the piano sounding a bit too robotic, and the overall mix sounding a bit flat. It's also a video game so maybe that's the entire point

thanks! i agree, i have never been able to coax a convincing piano sound out of software, but i kind of like the weird charm of something that sounds obviously midi, haha.
